Job summary

Diginet Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support, handling incidents in a ticketing system.

The role involves fault diagnosis, break-fix activities, and supporting Windows 8.1 through Windows 11, Office 365, and basic Mac OS support. Candidates with 1-2 years of Windows desktop experience are preferred.

Flexibility for after-hours support and teamwork across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in IT/CS as stated in the job description.
• Hands-on experience with Windows desktop environments and Office 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and group policy basics.

Responsibilities

• a) contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• b) Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• c) Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• d) Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• e) Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 8.1, 10 & 11 and Office 365.
• f) Basic knowledge of Mac OS to support Apple users.
• g) Install, upgrade, troubleshoot printers, hardware.
• h) General preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, printers.
• i) Remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals.
• j) Use diagnostic tools for network/workstation issues.
• k) Broad IT experience with networks, servers, AV, devices, telecoms.
• l) Project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.
