Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer for a renewable contract in the East area of Singapore. The role requires AV support experience, Active Directory skills and hands-on IT hardware and software support.

Initial assignment is at MacPherson for 3 months, then Tampines. You will handle end-user devices, network connectivity, backups, and ensure IT service continuity with after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience handling user support and AV support.
• Technical knowledge in troubleshooting of PC and AV.
• Familiar with Windows Server Active Directory domain services administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining backup solutions.
• After office hours support including weekends and holidays for urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user computing devices and software across notebooks/desktops/ peripherals.
• Maintain 24x7 availability by managing LAN/WAN, backups, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC, network, servers and provide long-term solutions.
• Ensure daily backups and restorations are successful.
• Monitor network and system performance to improve availability and security.
• Manage licenses, assets, and patching for IT infrastructure.
• Vendor management and asset reporting.
