Job summary

PURETECH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Tender & Cost Control Engineer to support the preparation of tender documents, analyse costing, and assist in budgeting for M&E works. The role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate tender submissions.

The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, up to 2 years of experience, and strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh / 2 years of experience in tender/cost control for M&E projects.
• Familiar with tendering, project cost control in M&E works.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender and contract documents including BQ.
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
• Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.
• Assist in preparation of budget for M&E works.
• Prepare preliminary design drawing and design calculation.
• Source sub-contractors and suppliers and price negotiation.
• Support and tender multiple M&E projects concurrently.
• Lead pre-tender meetings and brief team members during estimate preparation and submission stage.
• Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with client and internal departments.
• Perform other adhoc duties as assigned.
