Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking an individual for a role focused on preparing tender documents and supporting multiple M&E projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee cost planning and assist in budget preparations for a major infrastructure railway project.

Applicants should hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, particularly in tendering and cost control. An excellent skill set in organization and interpersonal communication is essential, and candidates from Malaysia are also encouraged to apply.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Tender (75%)
  • Preparation of tender and contract documents including BQ
  • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders
  • Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities
  • Assist in preparation of budget for M&E works
  • Sourcing for sub-contractors and suppliers and price negotiation
  • Support and tender multiple M&E projects concurrently
  • Lead pre-tender meetings and brief team members' duties during estimate preparation and submission stage
  • Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with client and internal departments
• Design (25%)
  • Prepare preliminary design drawing and design calculation
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Familiar with tendering, project cost control in M&E work
• Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
