Job summary

UNITED TEC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced professional to oversee M&E design and cost management for building projects in Singapore. The role involves preparing M&E design packages, costing for contracts, and supporting contract administration to ensure timely execution.

You will coordinate tender activities, engage with consultants and owners, and monitor budgets across multiple projects while maintaining compliance with safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with design-and-build project experience.

• Perform costing and budgeting for M&E contracts.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of various design M&E system in accordance to the Client’s requirements and specifications.


• Perform costing and budgeting for M&E contracts.


• Involve in formulating project contracts and provide necessary administrative supports.


• Perform quantity measurement, costing and budgeting for all M&E tenders.


• Participate in tender clarifications with consultants/owners to ensure clear, mutual understanding among all parties.


• Coordinate and liaise closely with relevant authorities and developers on design and authorities’ compliances issues to avoid discrepancies.


• Perform and evaluate cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects.


• Review manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation.


• Schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract M&E drawings and specifications.


• Coordinate the safety management on site.


• Perform ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related M&E discipline.


2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with design-and-build project experience.


3. Well-verses and knowledgeable of design of multidiscipline projects required


4. Experience in costing, procurement, tender preparation, and contract administration.
