Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. supports a Construction client in Singapore seeking a Design Coordinator to join their team.

The role focuses on reviewing and coordinating design drawings with consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and overseeing shop drawing production progress. You will lead a team of BIM Modelers, manage technical submissions for materials and construction methods, and resolve design discrepancies by liaising with teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of design and coordination experience with contractors.
• PE license with PEB registration.
• Familiar with British and Singapore design standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination processes and software.

Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, and manage design drawings with consultants to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Analyse technical challenges, develop effective solutions, and oversee the planning, monitoring, and reporting of shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions for materials, construction methodologies, and Civil & Structural (C&S) shop drawings.
• Manage a team of BIM Modelers in the production of fully coordinated shop drawings and detailed construction plans.
• Resolve design and construction discrepancies by closely liaising with relevant team & regulatory bodies.

• Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Up to $7,000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, and manage design drawings with consultants to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Analyse technical challenges, develop effective solutions, and oversee the planning, monitoring, and reporting of shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions for materials, construction methodologies, and Civil & Structural (C&S) shop drawings.

Job Requirements
