Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a BIM/Design Coordinator for a permanent role in Singapore. The position involves coordinating design drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding a BIM team to deliver shop drawings and construction plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with at least 2 years of coordination experience, PE registration, and BIM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years design/coordination experience with contractors.
• Registered PE with PEB in relevant jurisdiction.
• Proficiency in British & Singapore design standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination processes and software.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate design drawings with consultants for regulatory compliance.
• Analyse technical challenges, plan and monitor shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methodologies, and CS shop drawings.
• Manage a team of BIM Modelers for fully coordinated shop drawings and construction plans.
• Resolve design discrepancies by liaising with team and regulators.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking an BIM/ Design Coordinator to join their dynamic team:

Employment Type: Permanent

Position: BIM/ Design Coordinator

Location: Central

Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours

Salary Package: Up to $7,000 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, coordinate, and manage design drawings with consultants to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Analyse technical challenges, develop effective solutions, and oversee the planning, monitoring, and reporting of shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions for materials, construction methodologies, and Civil & Structural (C&S) shop drawings.
• Manage a team of BIM Modelers in the production of fully coordinated shop drawings and detailed construction plans.
• Resolve design and construction discrepancies by closely liaising with relevant team & regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant design and coordination experience with contractors.
• Registered PE with PEB.
• Proficiency in British & Singapore Design Standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination processes and software.
