Job summary

LEIGHTON CONTRACTORS (ASIA) LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to review structural drawings for constructability and ensure compliance with project specifications. You will coordinate with consultants, M&E engineers, BIM modelers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth integration of disciplines.

You will provide technical support to site teams, interpret drawings, address site queries, and implement design changes or clarifications

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
• Total Work Experience: 2-4 years
• Drafting experience is a plus
• Working with LTA experience: At least 1-2 years is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review structural / Architectural design drawings and documents submitted by the consultant for constructability, compliance with project specifications and potential clashes with other disciplines.
• Responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of CBP drawings and rebar drawings align with project schedule and construction activities.
• Work closely with structural consultants/architectural/M&E engineers/ BIM modellers and various subcontractors to resolve structural/technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.
• Provide technical support to the site team on structural-related matters, interpreting design drawings and resolving site queries. Liaise with the structural consultant to address site issues and implement design changes or clarifications as needed.
• Compiling and handing over structural as-built drawings upon project completion.

• Work closely with structural consultants/architectural/M&E engineers/ BIM modellers and various subcontractors to resolve structural/technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.
• Provide technical support to the site team on structural-related matters, interpreting design drawings and resolving site queries. Liaise with the structural consultant to address site issues and implement design changes or clarifications as needed.
• Maintaining proper documentation of design changes, site instructions and correspondences. Attending technical meetings and Internal / External design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Compiling and handing over structural as-built drawings upon project completion.
