Job summary

Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a BIM Modeler Supervisor to coordinate design drawings, review technical issues, and supervise a team for coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, PE registration preferred, with at least 3 years' experience and familiarity with British and Singapore Design Standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registered (Singapore) preferred.
• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities
• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings
• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities
• Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards
• Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
