CIVIL OR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Responsibilities
Coordinate and develop building and infrastructure concept plans and pre‑consult relevant authorities/agencies
Engage and consult with authorities for possible services diversion and prepare technical scope for budget approval
Identify, manage, and supervise front‑end site preparatory works including soil investigations, site investigations, and earthworks
Prepare overall schedules for building and/or infrastructure works
Manage and supervise building or land infrastructure work to ensure timely completion
Provide solutions and catch‑up plans in the event of project delays
Advise on building and infrastructure works for space and land allocation
Coordinate design work within the company and with external consultants
Prepare, coordinate, and collate tender and quotation documents for building and infrastructure‑related works
Prepare capital expenditure for construction tender calling and related works
Coordinate value management activities, tender activities, and construction management until project completion
Assist in payments for developments
Review preliminary and detailed design documents for assigned projects
Provide technical support and advice during construction and defects liability stages
Check planning and technical submissions to authorities and ensure approvals are obtained
Conduct BIM reviews and communicate with consultants' BIM coordinators to refine BIM execution plans
Manage the design process using commercial, contractual, and technical expertise
Ensure design processes recognize current legislation, standards, and codes of practice
Prepare presentation materials for management briefings
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
Experience: Preferably at least 2 years of design/project management experience for infrastructure and building projects
Local Knowledge: Familiar with local Building and Infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years of local experience
Technical Skills: Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD and BIM; ability to conduct BIM reviews
