Job summary

united tec construction pte. ltd. is seeking a project lead with a Diploma/Degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering and at least five years in PPVC, precast, or modular construction.

You will manage design teams, review shop drawings, and ensure adherence to Singapore codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate across disciplines, supervise on-site progress, and liaise with BIM management on clash reports and design presentations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience, preferably in PPVC, precast, or modular construction projects.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills demonstrated in construction project environments.
• Familiarity with PPVC installation processes and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the modellers / drafters

• Provide information / coordinate the offshore and onshore team

• Coordinate with other disciplines coordinators to ensure the models and drawings are in-line.

• Ensure the designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations

• Review C verify consultants / specialist’s design drawings and translate them into shop drawings.

• Monitor the schedule of design processes and submission of shop drawings according to Master Program.

• Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings before issuances

• Liaise with BIM Manager on the BIM presentations, clash reports, ICE meeting schedules and requirements.

• Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to construction team.

• Ensure timely completion and good quality of shop drawings

• To issue RFI to consultants

• To prepare the issuance of Site Design Amendments (SDA)

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support overall project execution and team objectives
