Job summary

A leading Crypto firm in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Head of KYC to manage and enhance the KYC function as part of their expansion into US equities. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of KYC experience, particularly in US equities, and have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Responsibilities include ensuring KYC compliance, reviewing complex cases, and supporting KYC analysts. This position requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a KYC role, preferably in US Equities.
• Experience from a brokerage, securities, or financial services firm is desirable.

• Support the KYC Lead in managing the KYC function.

The Role

My client is a leading Crypto Firm and we are looking for a Deputy Head of KYC to join the business in Singapore. We are looking for someone with US equities experience, as this will be a new business pillar as part of their expansion plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the KYC Lead in the day-to-day management of the KYC function and act as a deputy in their absence.
• Ensure KYC files meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and audit expectations.
• Review and approve complex or high-risk KYC cases, including PEPs and higher-risk jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance and escalation support to KYC analysts and senior analysts.
• Assist in the development, implementation verkopen, and maintenance of KYC policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a KYC role – must have experience in US Equities
• Ideally from a Brokerage / Securities / Financial Services firm
• Able to work independently
• Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
