Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology (required/advantage).
• Experience in psychological interventions, research or mental health settings is an advantage.
• Strong interest in dementia care, ageing and person-centred practice.
• Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, reflective and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and behavioural assessments to understand residents' needs, strengths and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based psychosocial and behavioural interventions for residents with BPSD.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, therapists and other care professionals on interventions.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychosocial programmes promoting cognitive stimulation and wellbeing.
• Contribute to research projects, quality improvement and dementia care innovations.
