Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist in Singapore to support the Integrated Business Planning process, forecast and align demand with business strategies. You will partner with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to improve collaboration and drive performance.

Qualifications

Prior experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP, or S&OP within FMCG, consumer goods, food manufacturing, or other fast-paced industries.
Familiarity with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and sales and operations planning processes.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment and influencing stakeholders across different business functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in communication and stakeholder management.
A collaborative team player who enjoys partnering with multiple departments to achieve business objectives.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop within a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

Support the demand planning function as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, contributing to forecasting, planning discussions, and business strategies.
Work closely with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to enhance collaboration and drive business performance.
Manage both short-term and long-term demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Partner with the forecasting and analytics teams to develop and refine statistical demand forecasts.
Maintain and utilize demand planning systems and tools to support planning activities.
Analyze forecast variances, service-level issues, and planning gaps, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Support regional and global digital transformation initiatives, including AI-driven forecasting and system enhancement projects.
Monitor and report key demand planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, supply outlook, shipment risks, and overall planning performance.
Collaborate with customer service and order management teams to ensure optimal customer fulfillment through effective supply-demand balancing.
Work with logistics and commercial teams to manage inventory health, reduce excess stock, and minimize obsolescence risks.
