Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Demand Planning professional for a 6-month hybrid role in Singapore, Boon Lay. The role supports IBP, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams.

The candidate will manage both short- and long-term forecasts, refine statistical models, and monitor KPIs to ensure accurate planning and optimal inventory health.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP, or S&OP within FMCG, consumer goods, food manufacturing, or other fast-paced industries.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP processes.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment and influencing stakeholders across different business functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in communication and stakeholder management.
• A collaborative team player who partners with multiple departments to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the demand planning function as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, contributing to forecasting, planning discussions, and business strategies.
• Work closely with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to enhance collaboration and drive business performance.
• Manage both short-term and long-term demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Partner with the forecasting and analytics teams to develop and refine statistical demand forecasts.
• Maintain and utilize demand planning systems and tools to support planning activities.
• Analyze forecast variances, service-level issues, and planning gaps, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support regional and global digital transformation initiatives, including AI-driven forecasting and system enhancement projects.
• Monitor and report key demand planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, supply outlook, shipment risks, and overall planning performance.
• Collaborate with customer service and order management teams to ensure optimal customer fulfillment through effective supply-demand balancing.
• Work with logistics and commercial teams to manage inventory health, reduce excess stock, and minimize obsolescence risks.
