Job summary

JE Human Resources Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Coordinator to plan, coordinate and oversee defence maintenance and engineering projects in Singapore.

You will manage schedules, budgets, manpower, subcontractors and equipment, ensuring quality and safety compliance. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in engineering project coordination, with familiarity in defence or heavy machinery advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering project coordination.
• Experience in Defence, Heavy Equipment, Automotive Heavy Vehicles or Industrial Machinery is a plus.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.
• A valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage defence maintenance and engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress to deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials and equipment for execution.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of military vehicles and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with workshop supervisors, engineers and technicians throughout maintenance.
• Review reports, inspections and repair documentation for quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams during execution.
• Attend meetings and provide progress updates.
• Monitor risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Identify and resolve technical/operational issues promptly.
• Ensure workplace safety regulations and company procedures are followed.
