Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a coverage professional to support the Lead Specialist in SWR 2 during maternity leave, assisting in applied research, technology translation and deployment in emerging technology domains.

You will work on decarbonisation and carbon management, help evaluate R&D proposals, manage ongoing projects to meet objectives, and contribute to roadmaps and partnerships for funding initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering; practical knowledge in decarbonisation, carbon capture, storage & utilisation.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for building technical expertise.
• Analytical and systematic thinking; able to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for the Lead Specialist in SWR 2 during maternity/shared parental leave.
• Keep abreast of global technological trends and develop expertise in decarbonisation and carbon management.
• Assist in initiation and technical evaluation of R&D projects and proposals.
• Support management of ongoing R&D projects to meet objectives, deliverables and timelines.
• Assist in development and deployment of technologies in decarbonisation, carbon capture, and resource recovery.
• Assist in structuring initiatives to strengthen the research-to-deployment pathway.
• Assist in quantifying R&D outcomes through ROI, CBA and sustainability metrics.
• Support management of key partnerships with international organisations and external stakeholders.
• Assist in developing technology roadmaps and strategic planning for funding initiatives.
