Zusammenfassung

PUB Public Utilities Board is seeking a dedicated professional to cover for Lead Specialist SWR 2 during maternity leave, focusing on applied research, technology translation and deployment in decarbonisation domains.

You will work with the SWR 2 team on evaluating R&D proposals, managing projects to meet timelines, and developing roadmaps for funding initiatives while partnering with international organisations.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience in decarbonisation / carbon capture / storage & utilisation.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for building technical expertise.
• Strong analytical and systematic thinking; works well independently and in a team.

• Keep abreast of global technological trends and develop expertise in decarbonisation and carbon management.
• Assist in initiation and technical evaluation of R&D projects and proposals.

• Assist in the development of technology roadmaps and strategic planning for funding initiatives.

[What the role is]

The incumbent will provide coverage for the Lead Specialist in SWR 2 during her maternity/shared parental leave, supporting applied research, technology translation and deployment in emerging and cross-cutting technology domains.

[What you will be working on]

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the SWR 2 team in keeping abreast of global technological trends and developing technical expertise in decarbonisation and carbon management.
• Assist in the initiation and technical evaluation of R&D projects and proposals.
• Support the management of ongoing R&D projects to ensure they meet objectives, deliverables and timelines.
• Assist in the development and deployment of technologies in decarbonisation, carbon capture, and resource recovery.
