Job summary

Frencken Europe B.V. is seeking a detail-oriented Deburring/Polishing Technician to join its mezzanine and high-tech manufacturing environment in Singapore. You will deburr and polish precision components, inspect finished parts, and maintain process documentation to support quality output.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a mechanical background, and strong attention to detail. You will work closely with engineers and production teams in a temperature-controlled setting.

Responsibilities

• Deburring precision components using various tools and techniques, ensuring all burrs are removed and surfaces are smooth.
• Polish components to achieve required finish and surface quality with/without magnification.
• Inspect deburred and polished parts for defects and document results.
• Maintain accurate process documentation including work instructions and inspection records.
• Ensure deburring and polishing equipment is maintained and calibrated; report issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA and production to ensure high-quality output.

Who are we?

The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deburring: Perform deburring of precision components using various tools and techniques. Ensure all burrs are removed and surfaces are smooth.
• Polishing: Polish components to achieve the required finish and surface quality with / without magnification. Use polishing tools as specified.
• Quality Control: Inspect deburred and polished components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Document inspection results and report any non-conformities.
• Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of deburring and polishing processes, including work instructions and inspection records.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that deburring and polishing equipment, are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth deburring and polishing processes and high-quality output.

Qualifications:

• Education: Secondary, ITE, Technical Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in deburring and polishing, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.
