Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Deburring and Polishing Operator to join our precision manufacturing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deburring and polishing components to ensure they meet high‑quality standards for detailed work. This role requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with intricate components.

Key Responsibilities

• Deburring: Perform deburring of precision components using various tools and techniques. Ensure all burrs are removed and surfaces are smooth.
• Polishing: Polish components to achieve the required finish and surface quality with or without magnification. Use polishing tools as specified.
• Quality Control: Inspect deburred and polished components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Document inspection results and report any non‑conformities.
• Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of deburring and polishing processes, including work instructions and inspection records.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that deburring and polishing equipment are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth deburring and polishing processes and high‑quality output.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in deburring and polishing, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in deburring and polishing techniques; strong attention to detail and manual dexterity; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills; good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other precision assembly techniques and testing methods.

Additional Information

• Work Environment: Temperature and humidity‑regulated environment. Ear protection required at all times.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle small and large (<1000mm) components with precision.
