Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (MSF) is offering an internship in the TFN Division focused on preschool attendance data validation, analytics, and dashboard enhancements. The role emphasizes building robust data processes, validating daily-to-monthly attendance comparisons, and reducing manual work through automation.

The intern will work with Python/SQL-based tools, contribute to dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proficient in at least one of Python, SQL, VBA, or Power Automate, with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Good writing and presentation skills to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable with large datasets and a self-driven, organized team player with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Conduct comparative analysis between derived monthly attendance figures and monthly attendance data submitted by preschools.
Design and apply data validation and statistical methods to assess discrepancies and tolerance thresholds.
Develop a recommendation framework on streamlining or discontinuing the current monthly attendance submission process.
Support building/enhancing dashboards for preschool attendance monitoring and reporting.
Rework Python/SQL scripts for monthly attendance data collation based on the new daily submission process.
Develop automation scripts/workflows to reduce manual effort in emails/templates preparation.
Present analysis findings and recommendations to the team and stakeholders.
