Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (MSF) is seeking a data governance intern to support the DataSphere team in advancing the ministry's data strategy and capabilities across the organisation.

You will conduct data quality checks, assist with UAT for data marts, and help design data download workflows and governance dashboards. This role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and Databricks in a government context.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Spark or Python programming languages and Git-based collaboration.
• Familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks) and data management tools.
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support data quality and DRM checks across data marts and help build automated pipelines.
• Assist with UAT/pre-production testing for data mart developments and write test cases.
• Support design/testing of data download workflows and governance controls; enhance dashboards.
