Job summary

Zenith Infotech (S) Pte Ltd is hiring a DevOps/Systems Engineer to operate and monitor large-scale data platforms in Singapore. The role focuses on uptime, scalability, and secure deployments across Hadoop/Spark ecosystems.

You will work with Linux/Unix environments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and scripting in Python/Go/Java/Shell, while coordinating with security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Solid Unix/Linux knowledge and scripting ability.
• Experience with big data platforms and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java or Shell.
• Experience with Cloudera, Informatica, or Denodo is a plus.
• Experience with Hadoop/HDFS, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Spark or Flink is advantageous.
• Good data structures and system design skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation, installation, and monitoring of big data platforms.
• Ensure reliability and operation of core systems, resolve issues within SLA.
• Evaluate infrastructure requirements for deployments and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, DR.
• Ensure deployment and operations comply with security, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Provide recommendations on data governance and optimization best practices.
