Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a data governance and AI transformation specialist to strengthen risk data governance and reporting across the RMDAP program in Singapore. You will coordinate with DMO, stakeholders, and internal teams to embed KDE identification, data lineage, and metadata management while aligning with BCBS 239 principles and regulatory expectations.

The role focuses on IT infrastructure, data sourcing standards, and data-driven dashboards to improve risk reporting quality and timeliness,

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in a related field with strong data management foundations.
Hands-on experience in data governance, BCBS 239 requirements, KDE management, and data quality frameworks.
Experience contributing to data lineage, metadata management, and governance documentation.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional data governance initiatives with stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

Support governance enhancements for risk data and reporting in line with BCBS 239 and data governance framework.
Collaborate with report owners, DMO, and stakeholders to implement KDE identification, data lineage, and data quality monitoring.
Coordinate data ownership, data sourcing standards, and metadata management across RMDAP reporting scope.
Develop and maintain department data governance procedures aligned with regulatory expectations.
