Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking a seasoned Data Governance professional in Singapore to lead the data governance operating model and drive policy adoption across the Tech LOBs. You will monitor data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with Group CDO/Risk functions on data and AI risks.

You will oversee data lineage, metadata, and data security programs, guiding multiple stakeholders in a complex, regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Certifications in data governance or risk management are a plus.
• 6+ years in data governance, data management or data risk management.
• 2+ years establishing data governance operating model and policy adoption.
• Good understanding of banking business, processes and systems.
• Knowledge in data quality, metadata, data lineage, ETL, data security and privacy.
• Experience across data infrastructure and governance with complex delivery.
• Proven regional experience managing multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Governance Operational Model – design workflows and guidance for Tech LOBTs use-case teams.
• Advisory role – promote policy adoption, controls, and enterprise data tools.
• Data Quality & Issue Remediation – ensure data accuracy and remediation across domains.
• Assessment Quality – review PURE assessments for quality against guidelines.
• Data Usage – support Responsible Data Use (RDU) and AI governance.
• Advisory & escalation – interpret and apply data policies, steer cross-domain remediation.
• Culture & Curriculum – strengthen data and AI risk culture and skills.
• Compliance & audit readiness – readiness for RFIs, regulatory issues, and remediation.
