Job Summary

The Data Entry Clerk transfers daily sales records from Excel into the company database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency through fast typing and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Input customer, purchase descriptions, and operational data from Excel spreadsheets into company databases within specified time limits
• Review entered data against source documents to detect and correct errors, duplicates, or missing information
• Prepare summary reports, data extracts, or logs for management as required
• Follow strict data security and compliance protocols to maintain data privacy and confidentiality
• Maintain concentration and accuracy while performing repetitive data entry tasks for extended periods

Preferred competencies and qualifications
