You will prepare and submit import/export permits via TradeNet with meticulous accuracy and ensure compliance across shipments. The role offers a base salary of S$3,500 per month plus an attractive container-based commission that rewards performance as volume grows.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants (SC401).
• Experience declaring customs permits through TradeNet.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore import, export and transhipment procedures.
• Familiar with HS classification, GST and duty calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
• Able to manage multiple declarations and work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit import, export and transhipment permit declarations through TradeNet.
• Handle permit amendments, cancellations and other declaration-related matters.
• Review shipping documents, invoices, packing lists and supporting documentation.
• Verify HS codes, customs values, GST and duty calculations.
• Ensure all declarations comply with Singapore Customs regulations.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and internal operations staff.
• Monitor permit approvals and resolve declaration discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain complete and accurate records for compliance and audit purposes.
• Support smooth customs clearance and release of containerised shipments.

As our shipment volume grows, we are looking for an experienced Customs Permit Declarant to join our team. This position offers a stable base salary together with a highly attractive container-based commission structure that rewards strong performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate import, export and transhipment permit declarations through TradeNet
• Handle permit amendments, cancellations and other declaration-related matters
• Review shipping documents, invoices, packing lists and supporting documentation

Requirements

• Able to manage multiple declarations and work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently
• Experience handling sea freight and containerised shipments will be an advantage
