Job summary

HS GROUP in Singapore is seeking a Custom Permit Declarant to join our Jurong East facility on a full-time basis. You will manage customs documentation and declarations to ensure smooth import/export flows within our Fast Moving Consumer Goods supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a customs declarant, customs broker or in a similar customs compliance role.
• SC401 certification or strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in using TradeNet for permit submissions and tracking.
• Strong understanding of tariff classification, HS codes and trade regulations.
• Logistics or supply chain knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to work in shift with colleagues in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs permits and declarations for import/export shipments using TradeNet.
• Review shipping docs, manifests and invoices for accuracy before submission.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and finance teams to ensure timely customs processing.
• Keep up-to-date with customs regulations, tariff codes and import/export requirements.
• Identify and classify goods under HS codes and relevant trade regulations.
