EXPRESS (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is hiring a Logistics Compliance Assistant to manage TradeNet declarations, verify shipping docs, and liaise with freight forwarders and clients at SATS Airport Cargo Road, Singapore. Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics are welcome; SC401 certification is required; attention to detail and ability to work under tight schedules are important.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome; prior supply chain operations experience is a plus
• Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants (SC401) required

Responsibilities

• Handle and submit TradeNet declarations for imports/exports/transshipments
• Verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) and ensure HS coding, valuation, GST and duty compliance
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouse teams and clients to resolve shipment issues
• Follow up on GST and duty payment enquiries with internal and external parties
• Maintain organised records and documentation for regulatory audits
• Demonstrate solid understanding of TradeNet, HS classification, and local tax frameworks

• Permit Management: Processes and submits TradeNet declarations for imports, exports, and transshipments, including amendments and cancellations.
• Documentation & Compliance: Verifies shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) and ensures adherence to HS coding, valuation, GST, and duty requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Acts as a key liaison between freight forwarders, carriers, warehouse teams, and clients to resolve shipment issues and facilitate cargo release.
• Financial Follow-up: Manages GST and duty payment inquiries with both internal teams and external parties.
• Recordkeeping: Maintains organised logs and documentation to support regulatory audits.
• Core Knowledge: Proficient in TradeNet with a solid grasp of HS classification, customs valuation, and local GST/tax frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics or related studies
• Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma/Degree and a strong interest in customs compliance are welcome to apply. Prior experience in supply chain operations is a plus.
• Key Requirements Certification: Singapore Customs Competency Test for Declarants (SC401).
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight, time-sensitive shipping schedules
• Good project management skills

5.5 work days [Monday to Friday : 9am to 6pm ; Saturday : 9am to 12 noon]
