Job summary

Recruitpedia Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Travel Consultant to support a leading travel company in Singapore. You will respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and walk-ins, and provide visa and travel insurance information while managing bookings and after-sales service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in travel, basic GDS knowledge (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) and strong English communication; Mandarin or Malay is a plus. Be prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Our client is a leading travel company providing travel-related services and solutions to customers. Working Days: 5 days per week

Job Responsibilities

• Attend to customers’ travel enquiries and requests via phone calls, emails and walk-ins.
• Provide information on travel visa applications and travel insurance.
• Handle and follow up on customers’ enquiries and bookings, including pre- and after-sales service.
• Achieve monthly sales targets.
• Opportunities to travel overseas for familiarisation trips and tour-leading assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification/work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in the travel industry will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GDS booking systems such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo and OB system will be an advantage.
• Service-oriented with good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Malay will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
