Job summary

Bangkok Bank Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Officer in the Customer Service Department. The role focuses on back-end support for consumer banking services and KYC processes.

The successful candidate will update customer information, liaise on due diligence, handle inquiries on accounts, and assist with e-Giro, cheques, and reporting to Head Office and regulators. A degree and at least 1 year of banking experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized degree required.
• Ability to learn fast and work independently.
• Cheerful disposition, service oriented with good interpersonal and communications skills.
• At least 1 year of banking experience, preferably in tellering/payments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers on KYC periodic review documentation.
• Update customer information data in the systems.
• Liaise with customers on incomplete customer due diligence documentation.
• Attend to customers and/or other departments’ enquiries on account opening, account closure and maintenance.
• Handle Outward clearing / Inward & Outward Cheque / E-voucher responses / Mark Cheque / Inward Clearing Report / CTS transaction backup.
• Handle e-Giro transactions; prepare reports for Head Office, Management and regulatory bodies.
