Job summary

STAR CONCORD PTE. LTD. seeks a Customer Service Executive - Imports to manage import freight operations, prepare shipping documentation, and liaise with shippers, consignees, authorities, and overseas agents.

You will review customer enquiries, prepare quotations for Nomination and Delivery (FCL/LCL), verify orders against proposals, coordinate with logistics subcontractors, and drive continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare import shipping documentation and liaise with shipper, consignee, authorities, shipping and overseas agents to execute freight operations efficiently
• Review customer enquiries for the company’s import freight and logistics business scopes
• Prepare quotations for customers (Nomination / Delivery - FCL / LCL)
• Clarify and negotiate with customers on proposals submitted
• Review customer orders to ensure alignment with proposals/quotations
• Liaise with logistics subcontractors and supervise related services delivered efficiently
• Initiate disposition actions for nonconforming services
• Implement corrective and continual improvement actions as directed by management
• Perform any other duties as required

Customer Service Executive - Imports

• Prepare proper import shipping documentation and liaise with shipper, consignee, various authorities, shipping and overseas agents and execute the freight operations in a proper and efficient manner
• Review of customer enquiries for the company’s import freight and logistics business scopes
• Prepare quotations for customers (Nomination / Delivery - FCL / LCL)
• Perform proper clarifications and negotiations with customers on the proposals submitted
• Review of customer orders to ensure no difference in proposals/quotations offered and customer orders
• Liaise with various logistics appointed subcontractors and execute the supervision and management of related logistics services delivered in a proper and efficient manner
• Initiate proper disposition action for nonconforming services
• Perform necessary corrective and continual improvement actions and programs as directed by management
• Perform any other duties assigned as and when required
