Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced airfreight coordinator to manage end-to-end import and export shipments from Singapore Alps Avenue location.

You will act as the main contact for customers, provide shipment updates, and coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery. The role requires at least 5 years in airfreight and proficiency with CargoWise.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant airfreight / freight forwarding experience.
• Proficient in CargoWise.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments, including booking, docs, clearance, billing, and closure.
• Act as main contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
• Handle complex or high-value shipments and resolve delays, docs, and customs issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory docs.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service.
• Guide junior staff on airfreight procedures and docs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to management when necessary.

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–6:30pm | Alternate Sat, 9:00am–1:00pm

• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

• Handle complex or high-value shipments and resolve delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs issues.

• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory documentation.

• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.

• Guide junior customer service staff on airfreight procedures and documentation.

• Escalate unresolved operational or customer issues to management when necessary.

Requirements
