Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced airfreight coordinator in Singapore to manage end-to-end import/export shipments and act as the primary customer contact. The role requires 5+ years in airfreight or freight forwarding and proficiency in CargoWise.

This is a permanent, on-site position located at 40 Alps Avenue, Singapore, with AWS and a variable bonus package. You will coordinate with airlines, customs, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments, maintain records, and drive

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of airfreight/freight forwarding experience.
• Proficient in CargoWise.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, billing, and shipment closure.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving operational issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
• Handle complex or high-value shipments and resolve delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
• Guide junior customer service staff on airfreight procedures and documentation.
• Escalate unresolved operational or customer issues to management when necessary.

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–6:30pm | Alternate Sat, 9:00am–1:00pm
