The role involves preparing MAWB/HAWB and related documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, handling invoices, and supporting sales with quotes and post-booking tasks. Weekend shifts may apply with allowances.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience in freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of freight documentation and customs regulations.
• Hands-on billing and invoicing experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and freight software.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers; provide proactive support and updates.
• Serve as main contact for bookings, tracking, and inquiries.
• Coordinate shipments with operations, vendors, and carriers.
• Monitor shipments and provide real-time status updates.
• Prepare and review MAWB, HAWB, DG declarations, B/L documents.
• Ensure documents comply with customs and regulations.
• Process invoices; coordinate with finance for adjustments.
• Support sales with quotes and post-booking coordination.
• Maintain accurate records for operations and audits.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement for CX and ops.

Customer Focus Officer (Air Freight) (Ref ID: 37948)

Location: East, Singapore

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Support
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding freight bookings, tracking, and general inquiries
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates and proactive communication
• Shipment Coordination
• Work with operations teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery
• Monitor shipments and provide real-time status updates
• Complaint Management
• Handle customer concerns professionally, aiming for swift and effective resolution
• Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare, review, and manage documents such as MAWB, HAWB, DG Declarations, and bills of lading
• Ensure all shipping documents comply with customs and regulatory requirements
• Billing & Invoicing
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies or adjustments
• Sales Support
• Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, rate quotations, and post-booking coordination
• Recordkeeping & Reporting
• Maintain accurate customer and shipment records for operational and audit purposes

Requirements & Preferences

• Graduated NITEC/'O' level with at least 2 years of customer service experience in freight forwarding, ideally in air freight
• Good knowledge of freight documentation and customs regulations
• Hands-on experience with billing and invoicing systems
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and freight software
• Comfortable working on rotating shifts (AM, MID, or PM shift) and weekends (weekend duties are WFH, with applicable shift and weekend allowances)
• Able to start work with 1 month's notice
