Job summary

CHEMIKALIEN SEETRANSPORT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Crew Administration professional to support fleet management in crew changes and rotations. You will manage crew data, verify travel documents, arrange medicals and visas, and prepare employment contracts in consultation with the Crewing Manager.

Based in Singapore, the role involves liaising with crewing suppliers, supervising Crew Executives and Assistants, and handling related administrative duties to ensure compliant crew deployment.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Fleet Manager in preparation for crew change plan and rotation plan of rehirable crew.
• Assist FM in implementing Company SMS Manual and advise on vessel performance.
• Liaise with Crewing Manager on matters from the Fleet Group.
• Prepare line-up for approval of the Crewing Manager.
• Maintain crew personal data and plan crew changes.
• Check validity of crew travel documents, STCW certificates and licenses.
• Evaluate if ex-crew is re-hirable based on previous appraisal ratings.
• Arrange pre-employment medical examinations for crew.
• Process travel documents, visa applications, air tickets and pre-employment medical exams for direct hires.
• Prepare Seafarers Contract of Employment with Crewing Manager.
• Arrange Masters and Chief Engineers briefing in Singapore.
• Liaise with crew suppliers.
• Compile crew P&I insurance claims.
• Check monthly invoices.
• Supervise the Crew Executives and Assistants.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Crew Manager.
