Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Crewing Planner to develop and manage crew rotation plans, track assignments, leave entitlements, and contract expiry dates, ensuring manpower supports safe and continuous MOPU operations.

You will liaise with Operations Manager, OIM, and supervisors to coordinate crew changes, anticipate gaps, and maintain a robust offshore candidate pool for current and future needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in crewing, offshore manpower, maritime, oil & gas, or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage crew rotation plans in line with approved manning requirements and operational needs.
  • Track crew assignments, rotation cycles, leave entitlements, and employment contract expiry dates.
  • Ensure adequate manpower is maintained to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted MOPU operations.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager, OIM, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate crew changes and personnel replacements.
  • Anticipate workforce gaps and proactively arrange recruitment or replacement personnel to avoid operational disruptions.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date crew database, including personnel details, job positions, rotation schedules, contract status, and availability.
  • Assist in workforce planning for both permanent employees and subcontracted personnel.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and hiring process for offshore personnel based on approved staffing requirements.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool of qualified offshore candidates for current and future manpower needs.
  • Work closely with recruitment agencies, manpower providers, and subcontractors to source suitable candidates when required.
  • Evaluate candidate profiles, qualifications, work experience, and certification compliance before mobilisation.
  • Schedule interviews and facilitate candidate assessments with the relevant operations team.
  • Plan and coordinate mobilisation activities, ensuring all joining personnel are fully prepared before deployment.
  • Arrange timely replacement personnel to cover resignations, medical leave, emergency leave, illness, or other unexpected manpower shortages.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Maritime Studies or any related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in crewing, offshore manpower, maritime, oil & gas, or a similar environment.
