Job summary

trust recruit pte. ltd. is seeking a Credit Analyst to prepare credit proposals and perform in-depth financial analyses.

You will evaluate applications, assess debt-servicing capacity and risks, and present well-supported recommendations to approving authorities. The role requires strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple credit applications and adhere to internal policies and timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in credit risk management, credit evaluation, underwriting or a related function.
• Hands-on experience in writing credit proposals and conducting credit evaluations.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment and repayment capacity evaluation.
• Ability to propose clear, evidence-based credit recommendations.
• Understanding of credit policies, lending procedures and risk mitigation practices.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple credit applications and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and write credit proposals, including credit analysis, financial assessments, risk considerations and recommendations for approval.
• Evaluate credit applications by reviewing financial statements, income, cash flow, repayment capacity and credit history.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess borrowers’ financial position, debt-servicing ability and overall creditworthiness.
• Identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures, including collateral, and lending conditions where applicable.
• Provide objective and well-supported credit recommendations to the relevant approving authorities.
• Ensure credit assessments comply with internal credit policies, approval limits and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor existing credit facilities and identify early warning indicators of potential credit deterioration.
• Liaise with relevant internal departments to facilitate effective credit evaluation and decision-making.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of credit assessment procedures and risk management practices.
