The Bank of East Asia (BEA) in Singapore seeks an experienced Credit Risk professional to manage credit risks within its Structured Trade Finance and Corporate Lending portfolio. You will conduct independent credit analysis, prepare high-quality written assessments, and submit clear recommendations with justifications to approving authorities.

You will review financial statements, cashflow projections, and complex lending structures, ensure policy conformance, and participate in policy reviews

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree with 10–15 years of relevant banking experience.
• Pronounced conceptual and analytical skills.
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills are essential for this role.

Responsabilités

• Manage credit risks related to the Bank’s Structured Trade Finance and Corporate Lending Portfolio.
• Conduct independent and thorough credit analysis in a concise and timely manner.
• Prepare high quality written credit assessments with recommendations and justifications for approving authorities.
• Examine financial statements, financial spreading and cashflow projections, and complex lending structures.
• Review Rating Model inputs for consistency, accuracy and appropriateness.
• Ensure credit exposure complies with policy or sector limits.
• Conduct periodic Credit Policy Reviews, Special Lending Programs Reviews, Sector Reviews, and Thematic Stress Tests.
• Monitor Watchlist developments and related Expected Credit Loss.
• Perform portfolio data analytics, regular reporting, and special projects.

• Examine financial statements, financial spreading and cashflow projections, and complex lending structures.
• Review Rating Model inputs to ensure consistency of application, accuracy and appropriateness.
• Ensure credit exposure complies with the Bank’s pre-determined policy or sector limits.
• Conduct periodic Credit Policy Reviews, Special Lending Programs Reviews, Sector Reviews, and Thematic Stress Tests.
• Monitor the developments on Watchlist accounts and related Expected Credit Loss.
• Perform other central functions of the Credit Risk Management Team, such as portfolio data analytics, regular reporting, and special projects.

Requirements

• Recognised university degree with 10 to 15 years of relevant banking experience.
• Pronounced conceptual and analytical skills.
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills will be essential requisites for this role.
