Job summary

Initia Group in Singapore is seeking a Chef De Partie to support the Head and Sous Chef, delivering consistently high-quality food and maintaining kitchen standards.

You will plan menus with colleagues, manage daily ingredients, follow directions, and uphold health and hygiene practices while striving for efficiency and consistency. A culinary diploma and prior CDP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification from a culinary school.
• Past experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
• Passion for delivering great food and service.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues.
• Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
• Follow directions of the executive and sous chef.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Suggest new ways of presentation and procedures for optimizing the cooking process.
• Maintain kitchen productivity and ensure consistent food quality.
