Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a diligent cost estimator to prepare bill of quantities and quotations, analysing blueprints and tender specifications within tight deadlines. This role includes material and manpower costing with full compliance checks and cost-optimisation review for ACMV and M&E projects.

You will also gather supplier quotes, maintain contractor directories, and help establish a robust tendering process, including site visits to record access, drainage and topography details.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (required).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ACMV and M&E industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material and manpower costing with compliance checks and handle tender deadlines.
• Prepare bids by analyzing blueprints and tender specifications.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; maintain supplier directory.
• Visit sites to record access, drainage and topography information; support tendering process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BQ and Quotations, analyse blueprints and tender specifications within tender closing timelines. Material and Manpower Costing preparation complete with compliance list.
• Rates estimation for items which are not in the contract list
• Assess cost effectiveness of products / projects / services
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Preparing tender costings and get quotes from suppliers, contractors
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Establish and maintain tendering process
• Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography etc
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
• Preferably with 3-5 years relevant experience in the same capacity preferable in the ACMV and M&E industry.
