Job summary

BIG - FOOT LOGISTIC PTE LTD seeks an experienced Procurement Officer to scrutinise expenses across units, lead procurement activities, source vendors, negotiate prices, and manage supplier relations for cost-effective purchasing.

You will evaluate capex quotations, audit payrolls, verify store/ workshop issuances with approvals, enforce compliance checks, monitor P&L, and deliver cost-control reports with savings opportunities.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience with vendor sourcing and price negotiations.
• Ability to evaluate quotations for capex purchases and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Strong cost-control and financial oversight skills.
• Experience with payroll audits and compliance checks.
• Ability to monitor revenues, expenses, margins and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Scrutinise and review all the business units expenses.
• Perform the role of procurement officer.
• Lead procurement activities including vendor sourcing, price negotiations, and supplier relations management.
• Evaluate and obtain quotations for capex purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business priorities.
• Perform payroll audits.
• Verify that store/warehouse/vehicle workshop issuances are properly authorized.
• Perform compliance checks on internal processes for all expenses.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, margins and overall P&L.
• Design and implement inventory control measures and financial oversight.
• Produce timely cost-control reports highlighting risks and savings opportunities.
• Enforce SOPs and conduct spot checks across business units to deter leakage.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks, cost analysis and tender projects as directed by management.

Job description

· Scrutinise and review all the business units expenses

· Perform the role of procurement officer

· Lead procurement activities, including vendor sourcing, price negotiations, and supplier relationship management, to secure cost-effective purchasing outcomes.

· Evaluate and obtain quotations for capital expenditure purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business priorities.

· Perform audit on payrolls

· Verify that all materials/items issued from the store/warehouse/vehicle workshop are properly authorized and supported by the relevant approvals.

· Perform compliance checks on internal processes on all expenses

· Monitor business unit revenues, expenses, margins, and overall P&L performance.

· Design and implement compliance and control measures to strengthen inventory accuracy and enhance financial oversight.

· Produce timely cost-control reports highlighting risks and savings opportunities.

· Enforce SOPs and conduct spot checks/audits across business units to deter leakage.

· Undertake ad-hoc tasks, cost analysis and tender projects as directed by management.
