Job summary

COLT VENTILATION EAST ASIA PTE LIMITED is seeking a cost-control focused professional to establish cost analysis files for awarded projects, monitor project costing, and ensure budget adherence. You will support Project Managers with procurement, assess claims, and help drive ERP implementation and reporting.

The role requires strong numerical skills, experience with ERP systems, and proficiency in Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in cost control and strong numerical and analytical skills
• Experience in ERP applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project documentation where relevant
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work under tight schedules and handle multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

• Establish a cost analysis file for awarded projects once approved and activated.
• Monitor project costing and provide up-to-date reports on project status.
• Check purchase requisitions against the budget; highlight discrepancies and obtain approval before PO issuance by Procurement.
• Assist Project Managers with procurement and subcontracting issues.
• Assist in checking progress claims, variation claims, and subcontractor claims submitted by Project Managers.
• Evaluate and certify progress claims submitted by subcontractors, and discuss with management before the release of payment certificates to subcontractors.
• Lead monthly Project Sales Forecast meetings.
• Maintain the Project Sales Forecast file and ensure input from respective departments is in good order.
• Participate in project/operations reviews with Management whenever necessary.
• Monitor both retention receivable and payable and follow up as and when due.
• Liaison with all departments to ensure consistency in company policy and procedures.
• Participate and drive developments in ERP system implementation.
• Support management with reports and project updates.
• Other administrative duties.
