Job summary

BEATHCHAPMAN (PTE. LTD.) is seeking a seasoned investment professional based in Singapore to originate, evaluate and execute strategic investments across Asia-Pacific.

The role requires strong M&A track record, technical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive long-term value creation. You will lead due diligence, coordinate with external advisers, and prepare materials for Investment Committee and senior management to secure approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Strategic Investing, Corporate Development, Investment Banking.

• Assess strategic fit, commercial attractiveness and investment rationale.
• Conduct financial modelling, projections and valuation analyses.
• Lead due diligence, transaction structuring and coordination with external advisers through signing and closing.
• Prepare Investment Committee and senior management materials, drive internal approval processes.
• Support post-investment governance, monitoring and long-term value creation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector developments, market trends, and competitor activity.

• Leading investment firm / diversified conglomerate (buyside role)
• Permanent headcount based in Singapore, sector agnostic
• Compensation: SGD 10K-13K + VB on top

Responsibilities:

• Originate, evaluate and execute strategic investments across Asia-Pacific.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Strong technical skills, M&A track record, commercial judgment, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and originate investment opportunities
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across cultures, functions and seniority levels, with a genuine interest in long-term strategic investing and business building
• Excellent research and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders
