Job summary

BEATHCHAPMAN (PTE. LTD.) is seeking an experienced investment banker to lead origination and execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across Southeast Asia, based in Singapore.

The role requires building detailed financial models, performing valuations, coordinating with deal teams, and delivering client-ready materials while maintaining up-to-date market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&A.
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment.
• Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision.
• Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills.
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of M&A/ strategic advisory transactions.

• Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies.
• Regional coverage: Southeast Asia.
• Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets.
• Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources.
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders.

Education
