An Asian Bank in Singapore seeks a Relationship Manager for its Corporate Banking Department to originate, structure, execute, and maintain lending relationships with large regional corporates.

You will structure loan transactions, provide a broad suite of corporate banking products, and prepare detailed credit analyses. You will work with multiple internal teams to ensure swift approvals and robust execution of transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Accounting/Finance/Business degree is an added advantage.
• 4–6 years of corporate banking experience in APAC with focus on Singapore/ASEAN.
• Strong product knowledge in corporate banking and credit risk awareness.
• Excellent team player with development potential.

Responsabilités

• Provide a full suite of corporate banking products including accounts, trade financing, RCF/TLF, syndicated loans, and risk participation loans.
• Prepare credit applications with in-depth financial analysis and risk evaluation; monitor accounts to maintain a robust portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to expand and diversify the Corporate Banking client base.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and other stakeholders for swift approvals and robust execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal lending guidelines.

An Asian Bank is seeking a suitable candidate to join as a Relationship Manager within the Corporate Banking Department. The role focuses on origination, structuring, execution, and maintenance of lending relationships for targeted corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and execute loan transactions (bilateral, club, or syndication loans) across Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on large/multi-national corporates based in Singapore and ASEAN countries.
• Provide a full suite of corporate banking products, including but not limited to banking accounts, trade financing facilities, bilateral RCF/TLF, syndicated loans, and risk participation loans (both funded and unfunded).
• Prepare detailed and well-analysed credit applications, including in-depth financial analysis, credit risk evaluation, and industry appraisal. Perform continuous account monitoring and review to maintain a robust and profitable portfolio.
• Identify and pursue holistic banking relationship opportunities in line with the overall business plan, aiming to expand and diversify the client base of the Corporate Banking Department.
• Work closely with the Risk Management Department, Legal & Compliance, Operations Department, Treasury Department, and other internal stakeholders to ensure swift approval and robust execution of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit, compliance, and lending guidelines.

Requirements

• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualifications.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is an added advantage.
• Self-starter with at least 4 to 6 years of relevant and solid corporate banking experience gained from an international bank, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific client base.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in corporate banking product knowledge, with keen awareness of regional market information and trends.
• Excellent team player with strong development potential.
