Job summary

ELITEZ AVIATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Core Engineer Technician to support manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement. You will analyze processes, drive Kaizen events and apply Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis to boost productivity, quality and delivery.

Strong data skills with BI tools are a plus. 2–5 years' experience in CI, Lean, and OEM manufacturing is preferred. Bachelor’s in Engineering required; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence or Industrial Engineering.
• Practical experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or structured problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in process mapping, VSM, Kaizen or similar improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes with focus on waste reduction and efficiency.
• Lead improvement projects from problem identification through implementation and follow-up.
• Conduct process reviews to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Organise Kaizen and structured problem-solving sessions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, standard work and Root Cause Analysis to address issues.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality to implement improvements.
• Track KPIs and improvement results related to productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Guide employees in applying Lean and CI techniques.
• Develop or enhance digital tools to improve data visibility and workflow.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:48 PM
Location:Changi, with occasional deployment to Bedok or Seletar
Salary:Up to$6,000/month, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for aCore Engineer Technicianto support manufacturing excellence and process improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with different teams to identify operational gaps, improve existing processes and implement practical solutions that enhance productivity, quality, cost and delivery performance.

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience inLean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and structured problem solving, together with the ability to work with data and digital tools to monitor and improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing and operational processes, with a focus on reducing waste and improving efficiency.
• Support and drive improvement projects from initial problem identification through implementation and follow‑up.
• Conduct process reviews and mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Organise and facilitate improvement activities such asKaizen and structured problem‑solving sessions.
• Apply tools includingLean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, standard work, visual management and Root Cause Analysisto address operational issues.
• Work with production, engineering, quality and other functions to implement corrective and sustainable improvements.
• Track project progress, key performance indicators and improvement results relating to productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and project updates for relevant stakeholders.
• Guide and support employees in applying Lean and continuous improvement techniques.
• Develop or enhance digital tools to improve data visibility, reporting and workflow efficiency.

Digital & Data Skills

Candidates with experience using any of the following will be advantageous:

• Other equivalent data visualisation or workflow automation platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree inEngineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experiencein Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.
• Practical experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or structured problem‑solving techniques.
• Experience withprocess mapping, VSM, Kaizen activities or similar improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects and working with different stakeholders.
• Good understanding of project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence different teams.
• Experience inOEM/manufacturing environmentswill be an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Beltis preferred. Black Belt, PMP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
