Job summary

ELITEZ AVIATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Core Engineer Technician to advance manufacturing excellence and lead process improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to identify gaps and implement practical solutions that boost productivity, quality, cost and delivery performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering or Operations.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or structured problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with process mapping, VSM, Kaizen activities or similar improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects and stakeholder collaboration.
• Good understanding of project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and facilitation skills to engage and influence teams.
• Experience in OEM/manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt or PMP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing and operational processes, focusing on waste reduction and efficiency gains.
• Support and drive improvement projects from problem identification through implementation and follow-up.
• Conduct process reviews and mapping to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Organise and facilitate improvement activities such as Kaizen and structured problem-solving sessions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, standard work, visual management and RCA to address issues.
• Work with production, engineering, quality and other functions to implement sustainable improvements.
• Track project progress and ESP/ KPI improvements related to productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and project updates for stakeholders.
• Guide employees in applying Lean and continuous improvement techniques.
• Develop or enhance digital tools to improve data visibility, reporting and workflow.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:48 PM
Location:Changi, with occasional deployment to Bedok or Seletar
Salary:Up to$6,000/month, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for aCore Engineer Technicianto support manufacturing excellence and process improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with different teams to identify operational gaps, improve existing processes and implement practical solutions that enhance productivity, quality, cost and delivery performance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience inLean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and structured problem solving, together with the ability to work with data and digital tools to monitor and improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing and operational processes, with a focus on reducing waste and improving efficiency.
• Support and drive improvement projects from initial problem identification through implementation and follow-up.
• Conduct process reviews and mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Organise and facilitate improvement activities such asKaizen and structured problem-solving sessions.
• Apply tools includingLean, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, standard work, visual management and Root Cause Analysisto address operational issues.
• Work with production, engineering, quality and other functions to implement corrective and sustainable improvements.
• Track project progress, key performance indicators and improvement results relating to productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and project updates for relevant stakeholders.
• Guide and support employees in applying Lean and continuous improvement techniques.
• Develop or enhance digital tools to improve data visibility, reporting and workflow efficiency.

Digital & Data Skills

Candidates with experience using any of the following will be advantageous:

• Power Automate
• Ignition
• Other equivalent data visualisation or workflow automation platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree inEngineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experiencein Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.
• Practical experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or structured problem-solving techniques.
• Experience withprocess mapping, VSM, Kaizen activities or similar improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects and working with different stakeholders.
• Good understanding of project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence different teams.
• Experience inOEM/manufacturing environmentswill be an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Beltis preferred. Black Belt, PMP or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
