Job summary

ALG is hiring a CORE Engineer in Singapore to lead continuous improvement initiatives within a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen efforts and apply structured problem-solving to elevate productivity, quality and delivery.

You will conduct VSM, process mapping, RCA, FMEA, 5S and DMAIC, identifying bottlenecks and waste and delivering sustainable improvements with cross- functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
• Hands-on with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM and structured problem-solving.
• Experience managing or supporting cross-functional improvement projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• OEM manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt or PMP an advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM and structured problem-solving.
• Experience managing or supporting cross-functional improvement projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• OEM manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred; Black Belt, PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
