Job summary

ERP21 PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Release Manager to own end-to-end release processes for core banking changes. You will coordinate across development, QA, infra, and business teams, chair CAB meetings, and ensure governance and compliance with MAS TRM guidelines.

You will manage dependencies across banking modules, oversee downtime and EOD impacts, maintain comprehensive release documentation, and drive continuous improvement in release practices through metrics and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in IT release or change management in banking/financial services.
• Proven track record coordinating core banking system releases (Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube, or similar).
• Strong understanding of banking product lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release management process for core banking changes, including planning and calendar management.
• Coordinate release activities across development, QA/testing, infrastructure and business teams.
• Chair CAB meetings and present release readiness, risks and rollback plans.
• Define and enforce release governance standards in line with change management framework.
• Manage dependencies across core banking modules and coordinate with vendors for third-party releases.
• Plan release windows including downtime, batch/EOD impact and blackout periods.
• Maintain release docs: notes, deployment plans, rollback procedures, post-implementation reviews.
• Monitor risks and escalate issues; coordinate contingency/rollback actions as needed.
• Work with test managers to secure SIT/UAT sign-off before release approval.
• Track release metrics and drive continuous improvement of the release process.
• Ensure releases comply with internal audit, regulatory and change management requirements (MAS TRM).
• Support incident management during and after releases, coordinating resolution actions.
